Second Year of the Listerhill Foundation Grant Program

In its inaugural year, the Listerhill Foundation Grant awarded $75,000 in total grant funding to six elementary schools, providing each school with resources to support projects and initiatives that directly benefit their students. From educational resources and extracurricular opportunities to improvements that enhance the school environment and student well-being, the first year of the program demonstrated the powerful impact that investing in elementary schools can have on children and their communities.

Building on that success, the Listerhill Foundation is once again offering elementary schools the opportunity to receive up to $15,000 in grant funding. Grant funds may be used for educational supplies, extracurricular programs, infrastructure improvements, student well-being initiatives, or other projects that address a school’s specific needs and support student growth and development.

The grant is open to elementary schools that have participated in or benefited from the Kicks for Kids program or are located within the service area of Listerhill Credit Union. Title 1 elementary schools within Listerhill Credit Union’s service area are eligible to apply.Through this grant, the Listerhill Foundation hopes to continue strengthening its partnerships with local schools and providing resources that help students thrive.

Applications Open August 10

The application period for the 2026–2027 Listerhill Foundation Grant opens August 10, 2026, and applications must be submitted by October 31, 2026. Following the application period, the Listerhill Foundation Grant Committee will evaluate applications throughout November and December. Applicants will be notified of grant decisions by January 11, 2027.

A Continued Commitment to Local Schools

“The response to our first year of the Listerhill Foundation Grant was incredibly encouraging,” said Haley Brink, Director of Philanthropy. “We were able to provide $75,000 to six elementary schools, and seeing how those funds were used to meet real needs within each school community reinforced why this program within our foundation is so important. We are excited to continue this investment and look forward to seeing the ideas schools bring forward this year.”
