Open a new checking account, and add direct deposits totaling $2,500 or more within 60 days.

First things first: open your brand-new Listerhill Checking Account! It only takes a few minutes. Once you’ve done this, switch your direct deposits to go into this account, and if your deposits total $2,500 or more within the first 60 days, we'll drop the $250 in your account on day 61!

  • Is this promotion for new members only or does it apply to current members also?

    This promotion applies to both members and non-members who currently do not have checking accounts with direct deposit or Signature Rewards credit cards with us.

  • What if I already have a checking account but no direct deposit?

    Members with an existing checking account are not qualified for this promotion.

  • Does this promotion only apply to Signature Rewards credit cards?

    Yes - Platinum credit cards are not eligible for this promotion. However, if a member requests a credit limit increase to $5,000 or more and qualifies for a Signature Card, the member would be eligible.

  • Switching over my direct deposit and automatic payments from my current checking account will be hard and take a lot of time. Can you help make it easier?

    Yes, we can! Starting Monday, April 17th, once you have opened your Listerhill checking account, you can use ClickSWITCH to move your direct deposit and switch your automatic payments to come out of your new Listerhill account! It usually takes 10-15 minutes to switch! Sometimes it takes longer to set up direct deposit - that's why we give you up to 60 days!

  • How will I receive cash back for getting a checking account with direct deposit and/or opening a Signature Card (and also fulfilling balance requirements)?

    Cash back will be deposited to the member's share account once the scheduled reports are processed following the required action (opening the account, deposit activity, transferring a balance, etc.).

  • Do multiple credit card balance transfers totaling $2,500 qualify for the $250 cash back?

    No, all balance transfers must be a minimum of $2,500 to qualify for the promotion.

  • What is the Listerhill Credit Union service area?

    We offer membership to people who live, work, worship, or attend school in northwest Alabama and south-central Tennessee. Community donations are available to nonprofits based within these areas.

  • What kinds of causes do you tend to support?

    We aim to support a wide range of non-profit organizations that are contributing to community development and enrichment in our focus areas. Your nonprofit may be eligible to receive a donation for things like improving schools, boosting economic development, helping underserved communities with food or clothing, or even providing affordable housing.

  • When should I submit my request for community donations?

    Requests must be submitted at least two weeks in advance of the time when you need the funds or prior to the event you are fundraising for.

    This is because our socially responsible investment strategy requires that we have time to go over each request and make sure we are using the credit union's community donations in the most impactful way.

  • I'm having technical difficulties. Who should I contact?

  • Can I use ClickSWITCH to switch my bill payments?

    Since bill payments are not automatically recurring, you're not able to use ClickSWITCH for them.
